Summary:

** What You'll Do/

Job Functions:

*** Monitors & patrols multiple sites on foot and/or bicycle, checks for unsafe conditions, hazards etc.
* Responds to incidents of work-related injury, medical emergency, fire, threats, suspicious activity etc.
* Observe and report activities and incidents.
* Controls & monitors access into all buildings.
* Prepare accurate logs and reports as needed.
* Works closely with other security personnel, management, employees & visitors.
* Learn and understand basic OSHA and Fire laws.
* Additional duties as assigned by department manager/leaders.

** Experience You Bring/

Job Requirements:

*** 2+ years combined experience in physical security, law enforcement, military, community outreach, customer service and/or emergency response coordination.
* Be at least 18 years of age with at least a high school education or equivalent (GED).
* Possess a valid driver's license.
* Demonstrated commitment to advancing racial justice and equity.

* Basic computer skills & knowledge (Outlook, Microsoft Teams).
* Knowledge & understanding of CCTV systems.
* Knowledge & understanding of access control systems (Brivo).

* Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and carry for up to 50 feet.

* Ability to work in a small physical space that can be loud at times.
** Schedule
* * This position requires 12-hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday. Also looking for someone who is flexible to help cover extra shift when needed.
