Security Officer Armed Driver

Position Summary

Armed Security Officer - Experience Required (Part Time) located in Reno, NV. This role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting patrols, and maintaining security at a government site. Flexible pay options such as weekly pay and instant pay are available.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, public officials, and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and follow post orders related to authorized entry, inspections, and incident reporting.
• Carry authorized defensive equipment in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines, maintaining professional conduct and readiness throughout the assigned shift.

• At least 1 year of armed security‑related, law‑enforcement, or military experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening per law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
