Employment OpportunityAt Inter-Con we provide customized security solutions for our clients, aiming for the right officer in the right place at the right time. For some clients, this means a softer security plan that aligns with values and needs, while others require a stronger presence for high-value assets. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team supporting critical facilities and infrastructure and public venues requiring an enhanced presence and personal protective services.
You will be trained by our firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship. As an Armed Security Officer, you are an integral part of Inter-Con’s broad security services.

Capable of handling the physical requirements of the position, including the ability to respond and assist with emergencies and render aid as needed. Valid NV PILB Unarmed Guard Card. At least 21 years old at the time of assignment (USA Only). An age exception may be approved by regional security director if all other qualifications are met. Demonstrate ability to read, write, and converse clearly in English.
Customer-focused with good telephone skills. Practice normal hygiene and personal cleanliness; neat in dress and appearance. High school education or equivalent. Completed state certification and licensing as required. Satisfactory completion of initial drug test, criminal background check, motor vehicle record check (as appropriate), and annual first aid/CPR/AED certification. Be a certified Fire Guard, if applicable. Ability to obtain certification as a Fire Safety Director, if required.
Minimum one (1) year of prior Security Officer experience; previous law enforcement or military experience may substitute for security officer experience.
Safeguard Bank’s personnel, assets, and property. Identify employees and other authorized personnel entering Bank buildings or departments. Screen visitors, maintenance/workers, vendors, couriers and other personnel by confirming entry authorization. Ensure property passes or other authorization accompanies personnel leaving with equipment or packages. Respond to emergencies within the assigned building or department and take corrective action as directed by supervisors. Enforce post orders and conform to general orders.
