The role requires a sharp eye and strong observation skills to monitor and respond to potential threats in various environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

    Full-Time Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities – Surveillance Security Guard
  • Provide excellent customer service while checking IDs, greeting visitors, handling deliveries, and other front‑end tasks.
  • Observe, survey the area, and produce reports on activity at the assigned location.
  • Respond rapidly in critical situations.
  • Conduct foot patrols inside and outside the building during your shift.
  • Patrol by car safely as required.
  • Read and write detailed reports accurately.
  • Enforce client customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
  • Protect employees and goods from theft through screening, bag searches, wanding, and other procedures.
  • Attention to detail may earn incentives discussed during the interview.
Responsibilities – Site Lead
  • Integrate Garda World Security core values into all business practices.
  • Supervise daily security service, ensuring the highest standards and representing Garda World as the premier provider.
  • Assist in staffing schedule development, payroll, and other reports.
  • Maintain operational logs, records, and post orders.
  • Build relationships with clients and staff, acting as liaison.
  • Support staff selection, orientation, training, and development.
  • Maintain a zero‑incident safety goal and robust safety culture.
  • Review officer schedules and staffing levels to improve operations, reduce risk, and lower cost.
  • Respond to operational emergencies with timely communication and accurate reporting.
  • Direct, supervise, and support shift officers.
  • Nominate rewards and recognition.
  • Manage corrective actions and discipline up to formal warnings; participate in higher‑level disciplinary decisions.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
  • Exercise independent judgment and sound decision‑making in all duties.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises security officers during your shift.

Work Environment

This job operates in varying site‑specific environments. The majority of the role is spent walking around a building and interacting with people, using standard office equipment.

Required

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; higher education preferred.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates possess 2 years of security leadership experience, at least as a shift supervisor or higher.
