Armed Security Officer - Washoe

Position: Armed Security Officer - Washoe County
Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns;
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel or public agencies as needed;
Monitor access points and help maintain controlled entry to restricted areas by verifying authorization, observing visitor activity, and documenting relevant information;
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements
