The Retail Security Supervisor supports retail operations by serving in a dual-function role that combines reception and security responsibilities within the licensed retail facility. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, patients, and visitors; assessing and de-escalating situations; responding to workplace injuries and security incidents; and supporting regulatory compliance within retail operations.

• Serveastheprimaryreceptionpointforcustomers,patients,and visitors,includinggreetingindividuals,answering phones,andprovidingauthorizedinformationinaprofessionalmanner.
• Conduct customer intake procedures by verifying age through scanning valid identification and directing customers through initial purchasing steps.
• Enforcefacilityaccessrules,includingdenyingentryorrequestingindividualsleavethepremiseswhenrequiredbypolicy.
• Assess developing situations and engage with customers, patients, or employees to de-escalate conflicts, disturbances, or disruptive behavior in a calm and professional manner.
• Respondtoalarms,disturbances,injuries,accidents,security incidents,andemergencysituations.
• Leadinitialresponsetoworkplaceinjuries,including providing

• Initiate,document,andmaintainaccurateincidentreports,witness statements,andsecurityrecordsrelatedtosafety,security,orcomplianceevents.
• Coordinatewithemergencyservicesorlawenforcementwhenescalationisrequired.
• Protectcompanyassetsfromtheft,diversion,assault,fire,andothersafetyorsecurityrisks.
• Communicatesecurityconcerns,incidents,andongoingissuesduringshifttransitionstoensurecontinuityofcoverage.
• Maintaincustomerandpatientconfidentialityinaccordancewithapplicableprivacyandsecurityrequirements.
• Applycompanysecurityandsafetyprotocolsconsistentlyindailyoperations.
• Report customer,patient,oremployeeissuestosupervisorystaffandassistwithinvestigationandresolutionasappropriate.
• Maintain open,professionalcommunicationwithmanagement,security personnel,andretailstaff.
• Support retail,security,andoperationsleadershiptoensuresafeandsecurestoreoperations.
