The Carpenter is responsible for maintaining and repairing the existing appearance of property and fixtures, assisting with in‑house remodels and working with outside contractors on larger projects.
DutiesMaintain cosmetic esthetics of casino and upkeep of common areas.
Maintain an orderly schedule of preventive maintenance in casino, restaurant, banquets and kitchen areas.
Respond promptly to needs of company.
Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to shift supervisor.
Annual completion of Respirator training and fit test.
QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
Three or more years’ experience in finish, rough or related carpentry trades.
Able to understand blueprints and work with various woods, sheet rock, carpet, paint and laminate.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures.
