** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES:
*** Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine the exact specifications for stone installations.
* Measure and mark areas where stonework will be laid out and installed.
* Shape, cut, and set various types of stones, including brick, marble, granite, and others, using chisels, hammers, and power tools.
* Lay stones and bricks in a precise, orderly manner, applying mortar and ensuring proper alignment and levels.
* Repair, maintain, and restore stone and brick structures such as walls, walkways, and foundations.
* Mix mortar, concrete, or grout, and spread it onto surfaces to bond bricks or stones.
* Clean, finish, and polish surfaces after installations.
* Inspect and maintain tools and equipment regularly to ensure efficient operation and safety.
* Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
* Follow safety protocols to always ensure a safe work environment.
** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
*** In-depth understanding of masonry techniques, stone types, and construction practices.
* Proficiency with masonry tools such as hammers, chisels, trowels, and power tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and drawings.
* Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions on-site.
* Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.## Qualifications

* WORK EXPERIENCE:
*** 3+ years of experience in stone masonry or related construction roles.
* Experience working on commercial or residential construction projects is preferred.
* High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or an apprenticeship in masonry is a plus.
** PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
**** Physical Demands:
*** Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and using hand tools.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Working in non-ADA compliant construction sites, including uneven terrain, ladders, and scaffolding.
** Mental Demands:
*** Ability to focus on detailed tasks and perform complex mathematical calculations.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changes quickly.
