** Any## Position Summary Werdco BC is seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team on the graveyard shift. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of tractor-trailers and heavy equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in diesel engine repair, diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance services on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
* Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems.
* Repair and maintain hydraulic, electrical, suspension, brake, and air systems.
* Utilize diagnostic software and vehicle computer systems to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
* Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets DOT and company standards.
* Complete work orders, maintenance records, and parts documentation accurately.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as needed.## Qualifications### Required
* Minimum of 2 years of diesel mechanic experience.
* Strong knowledge of diesel engines, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension systems.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Must provide own tools to begin employment.
* Ability to work graveyard/night shift.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.### Preferred
* Fleet maintenance experience.
* Welding and fabrication experience.
* Class A CDL.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience working on tractor-trailers, dump trucks, side dumps, belly dumps, and heavy equipment.## Desired Skills & Attributes
