Automotive Technician/Mechanic – Reno, NV

$25.00 - $28.00 hour (based on experience). Weekly pay every Friday. Full benefits beginning within 30 days of hire.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00/hr (depending on experience).

Pay Frequency:
Weekly pay – every Friday.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.

• 2+ years of hands‑on automotive vehicle maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Eligibility to pass standard pre‑employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required).

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces.

Regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment is required. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions.
