Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Critical Facilities Superintendent in Reno, NV to lead field operations for building automation installations in data centers and mission‑critical environments.
Impact- Ensure quality installation of critical building systems that support essential operations
- Maintain project schedules in fast‑paced construction environments
- Build and develop high‑performing field installation teams
- Deliver projects that meet the stringent requirements of critical facility clients
- Supervise field installation crews for building automation and controls projects
- Coordinate daily work activities with general contractors and other trades
- Ensure installations meet quality standards, specifications, and code requirements
- Manage material logistics including receiving, staging, and inventory control
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce jobsite safety protocols
- Review installation progress against project schedules and report variances
- Support commissioning and startup activities
- Document field conditions, changes, and as‑built information
- Mentor and train field technicians on installation best practices
- 7+ years of experience in building automation or controls installation
- 3+ years of supervisory experience leading field crews
- Strong understanding of BAS installation, wiring, and commissioning
- Experience working in data center or critical facility environments
- OSHA 30 certification
- Valid driver's license
- Niagara certification or BAS manufacturer credentials
- Experience with mission‑critical electrical systems
- First Aid/CPR certification
