As a Qualified Journeyman Electrician, you’ll play a key role in executing residential electrical installations including wiring, panel termination, troubleshooting, and collaborating with a small team. This role is ideal for someone confident in their skills and eager to work in a detail‑oriented, quality‑first environment. Some field leadership, mentoring, and client interaction is also expected.
Key Responsibilities- Perform full‑scope residential wiring and panel work.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and panel schedules.
- Install EV chargers and residential lighting systems.
- Troubleshoot and respond to service calls professionally.
- Mentor apprentices with a teach‑first mindset.
- Track material needs and communicate with Project Manager.
- Clock time, submit daily reports (Autodesk), and manage tasks using iPad.
- Uphold strict safety and quality standards.
- Strong high‑end residential electrical experience required.
- OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain within 4 weeks – NV requirement).
- Valid California Journeyman Card required (must obtain Nevada reciprocity within 12 months).
- Comfortable using iPads, basic software, and email.
- Clear and professional communicator.
- Experience with Lutron (Homeworks/QSX), Control4, DMF, Ketra, and generators is preferred.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot independently and handle job walks with inspectors.
- Must own standard hand and electrical tools.
- Valid driver’s license; must pass background check and drug screening.
