Sr Maintenance Technician

Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for the technical upkeep of the Reno portfolio, ensuring optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems while delivering exceptional tenant service.

• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and building interior/exterior systems.
• Perform predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance, including equipment rounds and service requests.
• Adhere to the JLL Preventative Maintenance Program and help develop and improve maintenance schedules, SOPs, and procedures.
• Establish production schedules, recommend process improvements, and evaluate building systems for performance and efficiency.
• Comply with safety protocols, hazardous material handling, and building policies.
• Participate in the on‑call engineer rotation and emergency response procedures.
• Use computerized maintenance management systems and other technology tools to record maintenance activities and tenant requests.

• Proven experience maintaining and repairing mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and HVAC control systems in commercial facilities.
• Technical proficiency with preventative maintenance programs and equipment diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of building automation systems and IT tools for maintenance management.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal with strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing responsibilities, and follow established procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, evaluating systems and implementing improvements.
• Team‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and a commitment to a positive work environment.

• Relevant technical certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or facilities management).
• Experience developing and improving preventative maintenance programs, schedules, SOPs.
• Background working in office or commercial property environments.
• Familiarity with tenant service delivery and customer‑service best practices.
• Experience with emergency response and safety training programs.

Reno, NV – On‑site. Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM with on‑call availability approximately once every 4–5weeks (after training).

Estimated annual salary: $81,120–$83,200 USD. Final compensation may vary based on qualifications, market, and internal considerations.
