Overview
Planned Maintenance Technician – Peru Ridge (Reno, Nevada) supports natural gas solutions at the Peru Ridge data center customer site.
Responsibilities- Perform service, maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment, including oil & filter changes, fluid checks and top‑off on power generators, diesel generators and/or compressors in the shop or at customer sites.
- Work in the field, traveling locally daily in company vehicle.
- Perform preventive and planned maintenance as directed by supervisor on work logs, maintenance records, and repair logs following all safety guidelines.
- Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately (expense reports, work logs, maintenance records, repair logs).
- Maintain appropriate badging for site access and convey confidence in customer communications.
- Keep records of equipment readiness, downtime duration and turnaround speed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanically inclined with basic hand tool operation experience and automotive lube and oil change experience.
- Knowledge of gas and/or diesel‑powered generators and air compressors preferred.
- Ability to perform physical work, including bending, reaching, carrying or lifting objects typically less than 75 lbs.
- Ability to think through and resolve technical problems.
Pay Rate: $20.00 to $24.00 an hour.

Physical & Work EnvironmentPhysical Requirements: Frequent periods spent sitting and standing in the same location performing repetitive tasks. Bending, reaching, carrying or lifting less than 75 lbs. Exposure to outdoor temperatures and elements, high noise level. May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment: Shop setting or client sites with moderate to high noise level. Exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, ice). Occasional office setting.
QHSEAdhere to Aggreko's QHSE policies, procedures, objectives, local legislation/laws and complete required QHSE training. Ensure timely completion of relevant training.
