General Maintenance Tech

Responsibilities

• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds systems in assigned buildings.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems to keep them up to applicable standards.
• Conduct predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance, including equipment rounds and service requests, following the JLL Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Assist with the development and improvement of preventative maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Follow safe work practices and established work standards and procedures.
• Establish work procedures to meet production schedules and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality.
• Analyze and resolve work problems and achieve work goals.
• Maintain time and production records and customer service requests using computer tools.
• Adapt to a wide-ranging and changing scope of responsibilities while minimizing risk for human error.
• Collaborate with teammates and foster a positive working environment.
• Control the daily operation of mechanical equipment in the physical plant and buildings.
• Maintain responsibility for preventative and contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical proficiency.
• Fulfill tenant service requests accurately and expediently.
• Evaluate building systems to monitor and improve performance and operating efficiency.
• Comply with all building policies and procedures, including safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Participate in the on‑call engineer rotation for the portfolio of office buildings.
• Actively participate in emergency response procedures, technical and safety training programs.
• Perform all work using proper safety equipment and in a safe manner.

Estimated compensation: 60,000.00 – 60,000.00 USD per year
