As an HVAC/R Service Technician at Cool Sys, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems for retail, industrial, and mission-critical customers. Working in the field, you'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues, and optimize system performance for safety, efficiency, and reliability. You'll document work, communicate clearly with customers, and uphold Cool Sys' culture of safety, integrity, teamwork, and continuous learning while advancing your technical skills and career.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems for retail, industrial, and mission-critical customers.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and system performance checks.
  • Troubleshoot refrigeration equipment, controls, and electrical components to ensure reliable operation.
  • Execute start-up, commissioning, and optimization of HVAC/R and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Document service findings, parts used, and recommendations using company systems.
  • Follow Cool
  • Sys safety procedures and industry standards, including proper refrigerant handling.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide timely, customer-focused service.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training to maintain and advance HVAC/R expertise.
