Custom Truck Accessories in Reno is hiring a full‑time Installer Technician to join our growing team. Our installers are the core of our business, delivering high‑quality, professional installations of aftermarket parts and accessories. This role is hands‑on in the shop, with a strong focus on precision, safety, and craftsmanship. We’re looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work, thrives in a team environment, and contributes to a culture of professionalism and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Professionally install a wide range of truck and RV aftermarket accessories, including shells, nerf bars, wheels/tires, suspension & lift kits, lighting, racks, bed liners, wiring, and performance parts
- Follow proper procedures to ensure safe, clean, and consistent installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges quickly and effectively
- Partner with sales staff to review work orders and ensure accuracy before starting jobs
- Communicate clearly with team members to keep jobs on track and customers updated
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support and uphold a positive shop culture of respect, teamwork, and pride in work
- Hourly base pay equivalent to $55,000 – $65,000+ annually, depending on experience and performance
- Efficiency bonus opportunities
- Overtime available based on workload
- Full‑time schedule:

Qualifications- Prior experience as an aftermarket installer or in a related automotive role is required
- Suspension experience preferred
- Strong technical and mechanical skills with proven attention to detail
- Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to adapt to new products or situations
- Must be reliable, professional, and a strong team player
- Own a core set of automotive tools (company provides specialty tools as needed)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Strong organizational skills and detail‑oriented
- Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds (parts, accessories, and equipment)
- Must be able to safely operate and test drive customer vehicles
- Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered
