Monday–Friday, start time of 15:00 (3:00 PM), supporting daily linehaul operations.

The Linehaul Dispatcher’s role is to coordinate and manage daily linehaul operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight between terminals while supporting driver success and maintaining service performance. This position provides operational support to drivers and works closely with terminal leadership to maintain network reliability.

- Dispatch and coordinate linehaul drivers and equipment across multiple terminals.
- Provide daily support to the local Pickup and Delivery operation, including occasional coverage as needed.
- Hold regular safety and communication meetings with employees.
- Prepare daily dispatch paperwork, including hazmat documentation and operational reporting.
- Coordinate linehaul schedules to ensure on-time departures, arrivals, and service performance.
- Monitor daily operations and proactively address service delays or exceptions.
- Schedule Driver's daily start time and utilize manpower planning.
- Support Operations Managers with daily operational execution.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of dispatch or transportation operations experience preferred.
- Linehaul or LTL experience preferred.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced and operationally driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong PC proficiency and experience using MS Office products. AS400 experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to organize multiple priorities and projects.
