Pay Rate:
Minimum $26.50/hr — Maximum $27.00/hr
Sign On Bonus: $1,000 (available)
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes incentives, benefits, and other opportunities ividual pay decisions are ultimately based on qualifications, experience level, skillset, geography, and internal equity.
Job Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL Class B license without air brake restriction
- Current valid driver license
- Meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards
- At least 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate or ability to obtain a minimum 1‑year certification (DOT requirement)
- Hands‑on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred
- Math skills sufficient to perform required duties
- Equivalent combination of education, training or experience
- Ability to attend a required 2‑week New Hire Driver Training Program
Responsible for delivery and pickup of containers to and/from customer locations; provide an incident‑free delivery or pickup while maintaining excellent rapport with the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites safely, following all safety rules.
- Perform and log daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift.
- Accept add‑on deliveries as required to meet business needs.
- Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
- Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane.
- Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery to the customer.
- Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with the customer.
- Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager on customer questions or issues; prepare driver notes as needed.
- Perform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center.
- Provide backup for storage center functions when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab, keeping it free from debris inside and outside.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
