Job Summary
Vehicle Operator based at the Reno, NV location reporting to the Operations Manager. Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a motorized lift vehicle to pull products based on customer orders. Requires experience operating lifting devices such as forklifts, boom, scoop, lift bean, swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, hitch, elevating platform, or trailer.
Salary: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Move levers and press pedals to drive and control lifting apparatus.
- Position forks, lifting platforms or other devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes or products.
- Hook tow trucks to trailer hitch and transport loads to designated area.
- Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventory materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
- Weigh material or product and record weight on tags, labels or production schedules.
- Load/unload material on and off pallet, skid or lifting device.
- 1 year of driving experience.
- High School diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
- Verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use tools required for the position.
- Multitasking ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to drive forklifts including Cherry Picker, Hi/Lo Reach, 4 wheel sit down, Turret, etc.
