- Position Overview

Below is the role and responsibilities for the Returns and Freight Specialist position. For internal applicants, you must be employed with ZLINE for a minimum of 6 months and must have your manager’s approval to transfer.

As a Returns and Freight Specialist, you will play a crucial role in carefully assessing and processing exchange and return requests. Your primary responsibilities include collaborating with representatives to address necessary adjustments efficiently and facilitate customer special needs. In addition, you will create and dispatch return labels or emails, manage logistics associated with product retrieval or item disposal, and proactively monitor the RAFT Slack channel to ensure timely responses to incoming inquiries.

• Answering the freight phone line for carriers, vendors, and customers with shipping-related inquiries.
• Strong emphasis on teamwork as you collaboratively manage return and exchange queues.
• Facilitate and monitor all white-glove deliveries/exchanges.
• Maintain composure in difficult and escalated situations, providing solutions to customers with issues at delivery such as damaged products.
• Collaborate closely with freight carriers to proactively address delivery issues and fulfill their needs.
  • Reach out to customers and channel partners to keep them informed about delivery requirements.
  • Respond promptly to phone calls and emails related to all freight and delivery matters.

Monday
- Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch.
