Part‑time

Our package handlers are our front‑line employees and an important part of GLS. They work diligently to sort and make sure packages are in the correct route, to ensure proper delivery timelines. They work closely as a team to make sure all the behind‑the‑scenes work is done safely and successfully. No day is the same. We are looking to expand our team with people that care about safety, quality and work at a fast pace.

• Scan and/or sort packages, load and unload trucks.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Characteristics are relatively stable and frequently wet and/or humid. May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat and vibrations. The noise level is usually loud and the exposure risk to hazardous environmental conditions is moderate.

Standing for prolonged periods of time is required. Regularly works in outside weather conditions.

• 0–25 lbs. – Regularly (65 – 100 %)
• 26–50 lbs. – Regularly (65 – 100 %)
• 51 + lbs. – Regularly (65 – 100 %)
