Position: Truck Driver - Class A OTR - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

Average $95,000 annually

Layovers required

Weekends off

You will drive
  • Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
  • Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
  • Operating a flatbed curtain side trailer
What you will do
  • Delivering closet inserts and metal shelf racking to distribution centers and job sites
  • Requires 3 to 4 layovers per week
Schedule
  • Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday schedules, depending on the assigned territory

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • English language proficiency required by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required

  • Vision and hearing abilities as required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Frequent movement: stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
