Job Overview
As a US FOODS® Delivery Driver, you will be critical to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. Your responsibilities include delivering a wide range of products—including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies—to customers’ drop‑off sites, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Deliver packages to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity.
- Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area.
- Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds.
- Make frequent stops during a shift.
- Deliver product in inclement weather conditions.
- Verify delivery of items with customers.
- Collect payment (cash or checks) as required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with required endorsements.
- No more than two convictions in the past two years for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver’s‑license suspensions in the past three years.
- Minimum six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in the food and beverage delivery industry.
- Must pass a DOT physical.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and education, with an expected base rate of $35.50 per hour plus overtime pay.
