Current opening: CDL-A Hazmat Driver based in Reno, Nevada. Pay is $0.75 per mile. A current hazmat endorsement, minimum 2 years CDL driving experience, and a clean MVR are required. This is a multi-day job: expect to be on the road at least 2 days at a time.
Compensation: $0.75 per mile; paid weekly
Schedule: Multi-day runs out of Reno; expect to be on the road at least 2 days at a time
Equipment: Well-maintained equipment; hazmat placarding provided for non-bulk shipments
Experience: Valid CDL-A with a current hazmat endorsement, minimum 2 years CDL driving experience, and clean MVR required.
Responsibilities:
- Haul placarded hazmat freight safely and in line with DOT hazmat rules
- Check placards, shipping papers, and load securement before every departure
- Communicate load status, delays, and hours clearly with dispatch
- Keep equipment, logs, bills, and delivery paperwork clean and current
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL-A
- Current hazmat (H or X) endorsement
- Minimum 2 years CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR required
- Able to be on the road at least 2 days at a time
- Professional, dependable, and safety-focused
Benefits: $0.75 per mile;
Weekly pay; W-2 employment available;
Health benefits offered;
Stay-on bonuses: $500 after first month, $1,000 after 6 months, $2,000 after 1 year;
Benefit cost may be taken out of mileage pay or reflected in the rate
