Inventory Control Specialist I
Location: Reno, NV (Logistics / Warehousing District)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation: $19.00 / hour (Starting) + Voluntary Overtime
Join our expanding logistics team in Reno! We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist I to manage and optimize our warehouse stock accuracy. Reporting directly to the Inventory Supervisor, you will be the frontline defense against inventory loss, ensuring our records perfectly match our physical stock to keep local fulfillment running smoothly.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Cycle & Hand Counting: Complete daily cycle counts using RF scanning technology and conduct physical hand counts to verify real-time inventory levels.
- Investigate Discrepancies: Research, document, and reconcile any variances discovered between system data and physical stock.
- Maintain Records: Update and maintain precise digital inventory logs to prevent shipment errors.
- Product Care: Identify damaged goods, repackage/re-box inventory in designated areas (Location 1070), and ensure stock is safely stored.
- Report to Management: Communicate stock issues, shortages, or anomalies clearly and promptly to the leadership team.
- Experience: 1+ years of inventory control, shipping/receiving, or general warehouse experience. (Previous experience in a similar specialist role is a big plus).
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with RF scanner guns and solid basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Sharp Eye for Detail: Demonstrated ability to spot tiny discrepancies to help prevent inventory loss and keep shipping numbers accurate.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a self-motivated, team-oriented attitude.
