Logistics Specialist (Data Center Operations)

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist in logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, or material management and be interested in building a long-term career in logistics.

Key Responsibilities

+ Receive and process incoming deliveries both physically and within inventory management systems

+ Verify, secure, and properly store equipment, devices, and consumable materials

+ Maintain organized storage areas and ensure accurate inventory tracking

+ Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and weekly inventory scans

+ Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

+ Build and organize project-specific pallets and material staging areas

+ Pull, prepare, and coordinate shipments between facilities and warehouses

+ Support urgent operational requests related to materials and inventory

+ Process return-to-stock transactions and manage unused project materials

+ Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure efficient material movement and inventory accuracy

Required Qualifications

+ 2+ years of logistics, warehouse, inventory control, or material handling experience

+ Experience using inventory scanners or inventory management systems

+ Knowledge of inventory accuracy procedures, cycle counts, and material tracking

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to lift, move, and organize materials in a warehouse or data center setting

+ Reliable attendance and ability to work independently in a structured environment

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience supporting data center, distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse operations

+ Familiarity with inventory audits, reconciliation, and inventory reporting

+ Experience coordinating shipments and material movement across multiple locations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Reno, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
