Warehouse/ Customer Support Representative - Part Time

Location:

Reno, NV Compensation: $16.50 per hour

La-Z-Boy is hiring one exceptional full-time Warehouse Associate for our store in Reno, NV. This is much more than your average warehouse associate job, you will be working alongside our Sales Associates, Designers and Store Manager as part of a high-performing team to support La-Z-Boy stores in Nevada.

** A successful Warehouse Associate candidate will demonstrate the following traits and responsibilities:
*** Dependable and on time every day. Our customers and team members are counting on you.

* Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
* Preference may be given to people with prior distribution center/warehouse or furniture experience
* Receive freight and stock freight
* Pull and prepare furniture for delivery company KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):  
• Prepare and unbox the product to La-Z-Boy specifications. Review product against paperwork to check for order completeness and accuracy  
• Assist in the loading and unloading of furniture and accessories on and off trucks which includes operating power equipment on occasion. Occasionally move up to 350 pounds on a two wheel dolly  
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Other duties as required by management, to include product prep, reuse or recycling of revenue commodities, 5S responsibilities, attending company required training and committee…
