Warehouse Lead

Xpedient Logistics seeks a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused 3PL environment. This role leads a team handling inbound, outbound, and inventory activities, ensuring order accuracy, on-time shipping, and strict safety compliance. The Warehouse Lead assigns work, monitors performance, and trains staff on SOPs, WMS, and equipment. You'll coordinate with transportation and customer service to meet client deadlines, maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, support audits, and drive continuous improvement in a high-volume warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations for inbound, outbound, and inventory activities.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and coach warehouse associates.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, loading, and shipment verification.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and root cause analysis.
• Uphold safety, OSHA standards, and housekeeping in all warehouse areas.
• Coordinate with transportation and customer service to meet deadlines.
• Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, and damage rates.
• Train staff on SOPs, WMS use, and equipment operation.
• Escalate service or equipment issues and support process improvements.
• Support audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
