Serves as an expert authority on the analysis and reconciliation of all Division accounts across a variety of integrated and non-integrated accounting systems. Evaluates and makes recommendations for improving the financial management and accounting procedures for the Division by studying accounts, reports, or procedural instructions as well as legislative and program background information. Makes recommendations on the structure and operation of accounting operations and the use of financial data for the planning of organizational strategies.
Plans the reconciliation process, develops schedules, assembles required data, and coordinates across organizational levels to assure the timely input, review and closeout of entries in anticipation of the production of Library of Congress, Copyright Office, and Division financial statements and reports.
