Our Seattle Fulfillment Center is located in the heart of the Renton Commercial District where we have 200,000 square feet of state of the art production and inventory.
This role will be hybrid, one day per week onsite and remote in commutable distance within Washington. We promote team orientated solutions to delight our customers.
Job Vision and
Essential Functions:
The Accounting Team at Cutter & Buck plays a critical role in functions of the business by excelling at the day to day accounting responsibilities as well as month-end, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the organization. The Associate Accountant role is responsible for daily bank transaction reporting, e-commerce reporting, accounting support for our sister company, Craft Sportswear NA, and back up for AR/AP functions.
Additional duties may include research, administrative functions, onsite check printing, forms printing and other as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum educational requirements will be an Associate’s degree with a major in accounting, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1+ years’ work experience in accounting with focus on AP/AR, reporting or related accounting functions.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills including v-lookup, pivot tables, Sum If, and other moderately used formulas.
- Adept at extracting and manipulating data for ad hoc analyses
- Provide appropriate level of documentation and is able to generate clear and understandable work papers and reconciliations (e.g. audit schedules).
- Effective in verbal and written communications.
- Understands internal controls, process flows, checks and balances.
- Knowledge of GAAP and the application of it, able to apply accounting theory to practice.
- Ability to obtain quickly the knowledge and application of Cutter & Buck's accounting policies.
