Join a reputable regional accounting and advisory firm based in Southern California as an Accounting Manager. This fully remote role offers leadership opportunities within the Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) Government Team, emphasizing professional excellence and a collaborative culture.
Responsibilities- Oversee a team serving public sector clients, including municipalities and districts.
- Manage client relationships and deliver compliance and performance solutions.
- Mentor staff, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives and internal process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- Recent experience (within last 2 years) with local government entities.
- 7+ years of full cycle government accounting experience.
- 7+ years supervisory experience in finance functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Caseware and government ERP systems is a plus.
