Detail-oriented and motivated, the remote Accounts Payable Specialist I will manage state surplus lines tax filings, maintain accurate financial records, and resolve client credits and refunds while supporting compliance with state regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Complete state surplus lines tax filings, reports, and payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile client invoices, billing reports, and related financial records
- Research and resolve client credits, refunds, and payment discrepancies
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in the surplus lines or insurance industry preferred
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Adobe applications
- Experience with Net Suite or similar accounting software preferred
