Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you'll oversee complex accounting operations, ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, and develop a high-performing team committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys improving processes, mentoring leaders, partnering with executives, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) experience is a plus.
  • Experience with MIP accounting software is desirable.
Lead Financial Operations
  • Oversee accounting operations including monthly financial reporting, cash and investment accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and grant accounting.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records through strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee governmental grant reporting, tax filings, and required financial reporting.
Drive Financial Excellence
  • Partner with the VP of Finance, Director of Financial Planning, and executive leadership on financial strategy.
  • Prepare financial reports, audit schedules, and supporting documentation for annual audits, including 401(k) and 403(b) audits.

  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Lead hiring, performance management, employee development, recognition, and succession planning.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality accounting services.
Champion Continuous Improvement
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using HealthPoint's Lean Management System.
  • Leverage technology to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Adapt quickly to organizational change while helping teams remain agile and effective.
What Will Help You Succeed
