Office Assistant Lead

Office Assistant Lead (OAL) vacancy within the Community Corrections Division. Position located at 13021 Pacific Ave South, Parkland, WA 98444 and reports to the Administrative Assistant 3 (AA3).

Responsibilities
  • Use specialized knowledge, technical skill, and independent judgement to review various court orders and enter and retrieve data from the Offender Management Network Information (OMNI) system.
  • File management, including file setup, closing, and archiving.
  • Serve as the receptionist, greet and confer with supervised individuals (S/Is) and the public, answering questions or directing them to the supervising Community Corrections Officer (CCO).
  • Answer a multi‑line telephone system.
  • Provide back‑up support duties for the AA3 and Office Assistant 3s (OA3s) as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least two years of clerical experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to assist individuals with various criminal backgrounds.
  • Navigate internal databases.
  • Proofread written material and correct errors in sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly to staff, supervise individuals, public, and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of clerical experience that includes supervisory or lead experience.
