Billing Clerk

Description

We are seeking a Billing Customer Service Representative to provide phone-based support to customers with billing questions, payments, and account inquiries. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, organized, comfortable working across multiple systems, and able to manage a high volume of requests while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

+ Answer incoming customer calls regarding billing questions and account balances

+ Research and resolve billing and account inquiries

+ Set up and maintain customer payment plans

+ Process customer payments accurately

+ Print and mail billing statements as needed

+ Navigate multiple systems to research account information and document customer interactions

+ Maintain accurate records and provide professional, timely customer service

+ Assist with additional billing and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Previous customer service, call center, billing, healthcare, or accounts receivable experience preferred

Strong phone-based customer service and communication skills

Comfortable working in multiple computer systems simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter who can work independently while contributing to a team
