A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Renton, Washington area is actively seeking a full-time Laborist Nocturnist (OB/GYN) to join its collaborative Women’s Health team. This is a team‑based, patient‑centered environment serving a diverse patient population, with strong system‑wide clinical support and resources.
The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Position Overview- Provide overnight in‑house Labor & Delivery coverage
- Manage obstetric triage, admissions, and emergency OB/GYN cases
- Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed
- Provide backup support to Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine OB providers
- Respond to urgent surgical and obstetric emergencies
- Collaborate closely with anesthesia, pediatrics, and nursing teams
- Ensure safe, high‑quality maternal and fetal care during overnight hours
This role is ideal for a physician who enjoys high‑acuity obstetrics, team collaboration, and focused hospital‑based practice without outpatient responsibilities.
Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for Washington State medical licensure
- Active/Eligible DEA registration
- Experience in high‑risk obstetrics preferred, but strong new graduates welcome
