JOB SUMMARY

WPMG, the medical group for Kaiser Permanente of Washington, is committed to building a future healthcare workforce that improves health equity. WPMG’s Healthcare Career Pathways program (HCCP) builds on Kaiser Permanente’s goals by creating experiential learning activities and workforce development pathways for students committed to health equity. HCCP programs introduce students to advanced healthcare careers that improve the health of communities such as public health practice and research, clinical careers (e.g., mental health, midwifery, optometry, medicine, pharmacy and dentistry), and health administration.

This role supplements other advising and career transition resources available to college students across Washington state. Therefore, the successful candidate will be an experienced advisor/coach with demonstrated success in helping students achieve academic success, who connects well with students from a wide range of backgrounds while supporting their professional development.
