The IT Application Trainer will design, develop, and maintain implementation training material and methods. The Trainer supports the training needs of all functional areas and their integrated applications. They translate system configuration and workflow functionality into organizationally specific and easy-to-understand learning experiences. Levels I, II, and Sr Trainers progress from foundational delivery and content maintenance to strategic leadership in enterprise education, curriculum design, and cross-departmental learning innovation.

Work Hours:
Typically, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. May include occasional on-call shifts, evenings, or weekends to support critical systems or respond to incidents.
Reports To:
IT Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Learning, or Instructional Design required. An additional four years of relevant and applicable experience may replace degree requirement.
- Minimum of five years progressive experience designing enterprise-wide learning strategies for healthcare or complex business environments.
- Demonstrated mastery in curriculum design, adult learning theory, workflow integration, and stakeholder engagement.
- Current certification in assigned applications and proven success in mentoring and leading other trainers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and training delivery methods.
- Strong ability to assess learning needs, including cultural and skill-based assessments.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing training solutions using one-on-one, web-based, and classroom methods.
- Ability to tailor training content to support processes and workflows.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required;
Adobe Contribute and Captivate preferred.
- Provide training for system implementations, upgrades, and workflow changes.
- Partner with operational leaders to ensure training aligns with business processes.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and adjust content based on feedback.
- Document course completion, evaluations, and training records.
- Participate in system lifecycle activities including design, build, and testing phases.
- Lead enterprise-level education strategies and training initiatives.
- Oversee curriculum governance, version control, and departmental compliance with training standards.
- Design innovative learning models and lead organization-wide adoption programs.
- Serve as subject matter expert on training systems, workflows, and adult learning best practices.
- Partner with senior leadership to evaluate learning outcomes and organizational readiness.
- Mentor and coach other trainers, promoting best practices and innovation.
- Represent IT Training in cross-functional governance and strategy meetings.

Min $86,267 - Max $129,401/annual DOE - Unique Physical/Mental Demands, Environment And
Working Conditions:
Requires the ability to move PCs and printers weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires planning, organizing, and working on multiple tasks at one time. Tolerates ambiguity in instructions and work situations.
