A school district in Washington is seeking a Substitute Para educator to support learning for students under the direction of certificated staff. Responsibilities include supervising student behavior, assisting teachers with clerical tasks, and providing one-on-one support to students. A high school diploma or equivalent is required for applicants. The position offers flexible hours ranging from 4 to 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and a pay rate of $30.60 per hour.
Eligible substitutes can obtain benefits after working 630 hours in the school year.
