Experience for work in public schools will be granted for prior classroom experience for para educator positions or for prior office experience for office.

Start and end times may vary by location/school schedule.

• A copy of their high school diploma AND
• Documentation of one of the following:
  • a. A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher OR
  • b. 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher courses OR
  • c. Official documentation of a passing score on the ETS Para Pro assessment (If you would like information about scheduling an assessment, please contact Human Resources at )

Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). Any employee who is scheduled to work 630 hours or more in a year is eligible for benefits.
