Elementary Instructional Facilitator – Literacy (Job )

We are seeking a Literacy Coach to support our community of adult and student learners. The primary responsibilities include providing ongoing professional development in literacy to staff, leading the LAP program, supporting paraprofessionals in Tier II intervention, and serving on the instructional leadership team. The role requires classroom teaching experience and leadership experience. Candidates should be learners first and ready to engage staff in professional growth.
Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible for Washington State Teacher Certification with an elementary endorsement. Extensive knowledge of the Workshop model, Lucy Calkins, UFLI, and current national literacy instruction trends is required.

BenefitsRenton School District employee benefits are administered by the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) under the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB). Eligibility is determined by hours worked (September 1 through August 31). Employees scheduled to work 630 hours or more per year are eligible for benefits.
