Music Teacher – St. Anthony School (Archdiocese of Seattle)Overview:
St. Anthony School, a vibrant Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle, is seeking to hire a Music teacher to join our dedicated faculty team in the Fall 2026 and teach Music classes to Kindergarten to 8th grade students and an Enrichment class to middle schoolers.

Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality music lessons that meet or exceed state and diocesan standards for all grade levels from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
- Serve as musical director for two all-school musical performances each year:
Advent Concert and Spring Musical Performance. - Create a supportive learning environment in the classroom that engages students and encourages them to grow their knowledge and skills in music.
- Evaluate and communicate student progress effectively with students, parents, and administrators.
- Utilize musical instruments and technology as tools for enhanced teaching and learning.
- Differentiated instruction to provide a variety of age-appropriate and grade-level opportunities for students to demonstrate skill development and competency.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills to establish a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.
- Effectively and consistently communicate with students, colleagues, and parents, and collaborate with teachers and staff in support of school wide events and activities.
- Preference for a practicing Catholic; not required.
- Previous experience teaching music to elementary or middle school students preferred.
- Expertise in playing musical instruments such as piano or guitar preferred, not required.
- Holds a current State of Washington teacher certification certificate for music, elementary/secondary education, or related field, or the ability to obtain one.
Salary range: $44,714 - $88,825. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
