- Evaluate, design, develop, test, and oversee the procurement, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of electrical components in medium and low voltage electrical systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for medium and low voltage electrical systems across mission‑critical facilities
- Identify operational and security gaps in electrical systems that are a risk to mission‑critical operations
- Develop master plans and mitigation strategies to minimize risks and increase resiliency in electrical systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, third‑party contractors, and other government agencies to install, repair, commission, and maintain electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and industry standards through detailed calculations and developing technical specifications
- Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electrical and electronic components
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree or Professional Engineer license preferred)
- Over five years of experience in medium and low voltage electrical distribution, infrastructure management, and power engineering
- Strong organizational, communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
- Experience in designing or assessing electrical systems for mission‑critical facilities, to include battery and generator backup power
- Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, power metering, and electrical automation systems
- Proven expertise with design and calculation software
- Deep knowledge of electrical engineering codes
