Structural Design Engineer

Renton, Washington 12+ months Up to $101.50/Hour Contract Shift-1

Company Structures 737 Airframe organization is looking for structures design engineers with previous design experience in our 737 product to support production at our Renton, WA location.

12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
• 12+ years related work experience in structure design.
• Experience with CATIA V5 and Company specific design tools and processes.

• Has previous job experience working on the 737 program in Structures.
• Ability to excel in a highly dynamic environment, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, nuanced results in a clear, concise manner that is easily understood by a wide audience.
• Have initiative and ability to recognize needs/SOW without explicit guidance.
• Be able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems.
• Familiar with DCCS, ETAC, PDM.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
