OverviewResponsible for the supervision of project staff, in addition to the administrative, financial, logistical training and safety functions to include operations, maintenance and repair services required for the assigned task. Controls overall efficiency of the jobsite. Accountable for jobsite actions. All tasks are to be completed at the jobsite to the appropriate customer, company or industry standards of excellence.
ResponsibilitiesMajor Duties:
- Assist in developing, managing and operating capital budgets.
- Develop and implement plans and schedules to achieve company and department goals.
- Develop processes, procedures and standards for the facilities operational performance.
- Read and understand contract and RFP requirements.
- Create an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual support among employees.
- Review work performance of subordinates
- Manage and maintain the completion of the facilities scheduled PMs through the CMMS.
- Assist with environmental compliance.
- Assist with the compliance of local, state, and federal codes.
- Develop, manage and coordinate all shift schedules including holiday, vacation, sick and emergency coverages.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings to discuss facility operations, project status, toolbox safety and other relevant information.
- Review, approve and submit weekly timesheets, work order tickets and other required documentation.
- Accurately document work performed on tickets and/or work orders.
- As required, prepare and submit a cost analysis report for contracted work.
- Assist with updating and implementing HAZCOM and environmental programs.
- Set‑up, maintain and use filing system.
- Perform tool and equipment inventory monthly.
- Maintain skills and knowledge to industry standards.
- Perform annual and semi‑annual performance reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary: $69.52 per hour
Hours: 6am - 2pm (Monday - Friday)

- 2-4 years as a Building Engineer
- 5-8 years of relevant experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds
- Capable of climbing ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizing and supervisory skills.
- Coaching, counseling, initiative and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Business acumen and P&L experience.
- Initiate continuous improvement skills initiatives for staff.
- Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, technical materials, and manufacturer’s manuals.
- In‑depth working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and hardware.
- In‑depth knowledge of hand tools, electrical, power tools, meters and gauges.
- Ability to plan and execute work activities with minimal direction.
