Engineering Estimator Opportunity

This company has been designing, testing, and manufacturing composite products used in the aerospace industry for over 30 years. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with a focus on practical problem solving, cost awareness, and continuous improvement across active programs.

Job Type: This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Engineering Estimator Responsibilities
- Develop cost estimates for new product development and design-to-build programs
- Analyze blueprints, CAD models, and specifications to determine material and labor needs
- Prepare detailed cost summaries including labor, materials, and overhead
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and vendors to refine estimates and resolve issues
- Support program budgets and complete post-job profitability reviews
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm – this is an onsite role.
Pay: $90,000 - $125,000 annually
Engineering Estimator Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
- At least a year of experience in engineering estimating or a related engineering role
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as CATIA or Inventor
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
