Material And Process Engineer
A well-known aerospace company is looking for a Material and Process Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for Flammability and Materials & Process (M&P) activities in support of substantiation, certification, and airworthiness of new and existing products.
Essential Functions:
Flammability and Material & Process engineering will ensure product/process are compliant to FAR 25 flammability and mechanical properties requirements. The individual will review engineering designs, material & process specifications, and customer requirements in order to develop of flammability substantiation data to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible to verify and report TSCA/Reach/RoHS etc. compliance.
Required
Skills & Experience:
Must have some 4+ years knowledge of:
Aerospace Industry and regulatory (FAA) flammability requirements & regulations, Aerospace Certification, and Material & Process specifications.
Flammability or Mechanical testing experience
Knowledge of Airbus (ABD
0031) or Boeing (D6-83466, D6-49936 or D6-55698) or FAA PS-ANM-25.853-01
Bachelors in Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Process Engineer
