Quality Engineer

A well-known Aerospace company in the Renton, WA area is looking to add a Quality Engineer to their growing team! A successful candidate in the role will be responsible for improving product quality, increasing process efficiency, and reducing operating costs by reducing variation in the inputs to manufacturing. Additionally, you will ensure customer satisfaction by improving products and processes through failure mode effects analysis, as well as participate in internal process audits and being a focal for both internal and external corrective actions.

Required

Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in Aerospace
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (data analysis, control charts, pivot tables etc)
• Able to utilize data driven problem solving, searching for root cause and addressing issues.
• Knowledge of Intermediate manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, and related measurement methods and techniques

Skills & Experience:

• Experience working with composites materials.
• Experience working with PFMEA & MSA tools and concepts
