Response Officer ; Patrols - OFMD

Position: Response Officer I (Day Patrols) - OFMD
* Assist Response Officers II during emergency and non-emergency incidents (medical, law enforcement, injury/accident, etc.) on campus.
* Provides Emergency Management support during larger-scale incidents.
* Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor.
* Perform patrols, building checks, and safety assessments.
* Assist visitors, open doors, provide escorts, and assist with way finding.
* Gather information for reports and assist with follow-up tasks.
* Support parking enforcement and campus navigation.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Typically works 6:00 a.m.

- 2:00 p.m.
* Alternative work schedule as a regular part of the job (on-call, shifts, evenings, and weekends).
* Requires extensive safety training.
* Requires protective devices.
* Response Officers perform duties in the established uniform, primarily on foot.
* Officers assigned to the Bike Patrol or other special duties may be provided with a bicycle or motor vehicle.
